Erin is an Associate Licensed Counselor and a National board certified counselor. Erin is also a licensed Pastor. She graduated from Nelson University with her Bachelors in Counseling. She then received her masters degree at University of West Alabama in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has experience working with children and teenagers when she interned at Decatur Morgan West Hospital. She worked as an at risk counselor for children and teenagers as well as a school based counselor for the Mental Health Center of North Central Alabama. She has always loved working with children and teenagers but found even more enjoyment with being able to counsel the youth of North Alabama. She became a counselor to able to help people who deal with Mental Health issues, and not just counsel them but support them. As counselors we are not here to "fix" anyone but to help them grow from their experiences and heal. Scars are signs that we have survived, not that we were too weak or incapable of pushing through, but that we went through pain and being "cut open" but walked away with battle scars of courage.

Hey, my name is Lady and I am here to help! I am a Goldendoodle, which means that I am hypoallergenic due to having hair and not fur. I love people and meeting new people. I am a therapy dog in training, which means that a part of my training is to be in sessions and engage with people. I am a gentle dog that loves to play but also cuddle. In my spare time I like to take long naps, wait for the humans to open a bag of crackers or get some cheese from the fridge. I am super smart which makes me funny but I can be irritating to my owner but she loves me no matter what. If you would like for me to join you or your child in session please let us know! I look forward to meeting you all!!
